Connecting Founders To The Next Generation

It started with a TikTok DM after a view I’d made about my holiday to Portugal.

‍

The message was from Johnny, a 20 year old from London, ‘I like the content mate’, 

‍

A nice compliment, a need for a founder friend, a way in to get me to buy his product or the start of a 2 year long working relationship?

‍

The latter. We started with a shoot day in London, filming some of the videos that would become iconic in the Ovrload brand.

‍

Johnny was already a brilliant creative and our content became a part of ads that helped them to become the largest creatine gummy brand in the UK.

‍

Johnny was then very kind to intro him to some of his other pals in the content space and supported our work for the next few years.

‍

Great founders want to help those around them and see them succeed and that’s what Johnny did.

This is a story that almost didn’t happen

‍

You see I’d been filming for a personal trainer at this fancy new gym called Fortitude, just days before they were due to launch.

‍

And just as I was wrapping up, I met Pri, the founder of this whole thing.

‍

He told me that his videographer hadn’t been able to make the opening and asked if I could shoot it, he told me that his regular guy would be back but just needed help this time.

‍

Well we ended up working alongside Pri for the next 2 years, seeing their gym double in size and helping them to tell their story along the way with full content creation, ads, website design, graphics, the whole 9 yards.

‍

Pri said recently that he feels he has achieved his goals as a gym owner and has a desire to give back. 

‍

This is inspiring and the type of founders that become great rather than just good, they see their business as a way to encourage and inspire others.

'Asher, we want to make a summer launch campaign about bringing people together in London'

That was the brief. Georgia 12 months earlier had founded TBC.xyz as a way to get people offline and gather together around events.

‍

We brainstormed in her living room, the first idea, to put an envelop onto a Lime-bike and get people to document their journeys around London.

‍

We wanted people 'offline and on-Lime'.

‍

Lime bikes became a theme of our work together, eventually attracting the attention of Lime themselves.

‍

They used our content to headline their Christmas post on Instagram!

‍

We went on to work with Georgia as a founder across 2 businesses, making a ton of content together.

‍

Georgia's favourite word is 'zoomies', I don't quite know how to define it, but it's something like 'the moments you love, doing what you love, with the people you love'

‍

What do you get if you partner a Scandinavian property developer and a content creator from London?

You see I was introduced to Mads through another property company at the time I was trying another flipping startup, Homereel.

‍

I thought I was going to continue to build this platform for estate agents to post short form video, that wasn’t happening. 

‍

He asked if he could invest in me but instead he decided to invest in himself. A much better use of money!

‍

From there I helped Mads launch his personal brand.

‍

We shot videos of his ultra-lux properties around London, filming panels and edited podcasts all whilst telling his story of how he grew his property portfolio.

‍

Mads has gone onto launch a course and a product with another great studio but whilst he was with us I learned the importance of team.

‍

Mads had over 50 people under his watch yet had delegated well enough so that he had space to do the things he was passionate about and take care of his family.

‍

He gave great attention to our work and full focus when we were together.

‍
